The Supreme is a visual standout. Both the top and back are carved, bookmatched, and made of highly figured flamed Maple, giving it a striking symmetry and a rich, luxurious aesthetic. We have a unique chambered Mahogany core, and no backplate. Because of that all the electronics are installed through the output jack’s opening. The Mahogany neck is paired with a Ebony fingerboard, bound and adorned with a unique Split-block Mother of Pearl inlays. The headstock is equally extra, featuring a deluxe Mother of Pearl globe inlay, a “Supreme” banner, and the iconic Gibson logo, all crafted in shimmering pearl. Even the gold-plated brass truss rod cover is engraved, completing the instrument’s upscale aesthetic. Under the hood, it’s all Les Paul: a traditional control layout and a pair of 490R and 490T humbuckers.
The guitar is in good condition. We have light scratches around the knobs, toggle switch. Frets are practically unplayed, clean and shiny. Small chip on the back binding. Light scratches inside the cutaway.
