This guitar is essentially a love letter to 1980s guitar craftsmanship, brought back to life in the very place it all began – Hollywood. The body is made from alder, featuring hand-painted graphics sealed with a polyurethane finish. The neck stays true to the era, with tinted maple and a quartersawn center strip for extra stability. Pickups are hand-wound in-house using ceramic magnets: BGC M88N in the neck and BGC M88B in the bridge. The hardware is top-tier and doesn’t disappoint: a Gotoh GE-1996T surface-mounted floating tremolo paired with Gotoh tuners ensures excellent tuning stability. Outright cool touches like a pre-installed DiMarzio ClipLock strap, custom inlays, and rolled fretboard edges add even more character to this time capsule of an instrument.
The guitar is in great condition. Close to mint, regular traces of use. The guitar had a trem block installed, which was removed and stored in the case – tremolo is currently set up to be fully floating.
