This rare Frank Gambale signature model is based on an Ibanez S series body made out of mahogany with a quilted maple veneer on top. Its neck is a single piece maple with a rosewood fingerboard. It features 22 Jim Dunlop nickel silver frets, white binding and a FGM logo on the 12th fret. The bridge is a Lo Pro Edge tremolo paired with a locking nut to maintain perfect tuning stability. Tuners are Gotoh SG38. For the pickups, it was equipped with an Ibanez own designed pickups in an HSS configuration. It consists of AH2 humbucker in the bridge and SB2 in the neck and in the middle, that deliver great articulation and dynamics. For controls it features master volume with a push/pull, master tone and a 5 way pickup selector switch, allowing for loads of tonal options.
This guitar is in great condition for its age, some dings on the bottom back side, minor playing wear and missing back tremolo plate.
