This PRS McCarty Artist is an employee build, which means the PRS worker who ordered this guitar, spec’d it out himself – and we think he couldn’t have done a better job. This unique, one-of-a-kind guitar features a solid, 1-piece mahogany body with a gorgeous flame maple top. The neck is also mahogany, with an ebony fingerboard fitted with the instantly recognizable abalone “birds in flight” inlays. The hardware selected for this instrument consists of a 2-piece PRS stoptail and PRS Phase III locking tuners. Because looks aren’t everything, this guitar comes with a pair of 58/15 LT pickups in the bridge and neck positions – making it sound as good as it looks. The traditional 4-knob layout has been simplified into a two knob setup. If you ever wanted a Les Paul, but were not willing to put up with the back pain, this guitar is the right choice for you!
