This Ibanez RG is a 6-string powerhouse from the flagship J.Custom series, representing the pinnacle of Ibanez craftsmanship. Contrary to many J. Custom models, this one was built in the Sugi factory, not Fujigen. With beautiful woods and high-end components, this is quite simply the best of what Ibanez has to offer. Starting off, we have neck-thru-body construction with 40mm African mahogany wings topped with exotic maple mated to the 3-piece maple Wizard neck. The fingerboard is rosewood and sports 24 Jescar FW57110 frets and offset abalone dot position markers. The hardware consists of a Edge Zero tremolo with a ZPS3 stabilizer, a barless Top-Lok nut and Gotoh SG381 non-locking tuners and is done up in a chrome finish. The electronics are handled by the excellent DiMarzio ToneZone and Air Norton combination in the bridge and neck positions respectively. The control layout was kept simple, with one master volume, one master tone and a 5-way pickup selector switch for coil splitting, making this instrument pleasing to both your eyes and ears and still retaining its capability to deal out lethal riffs with ridiculous amounts of gain.
The guitar is in excellent condition. Minimal traces of use, nearly mint.
