This guitar was produced in Japan by Sugi as part of the high end J.Custom line and was offered for sale exclusively in Japan. Die-hard fans might recognize this beast by a different name – it was also known as the JCRG-80. We have a classic combo of a flamed maple top over a mahogany body, joined to a neck made of maple, and surprise – bubinga. Of course we have 24-frets, rosewood fingerboard accented with flame maple binding and offset mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Hardware wise yet another classic – DiMarzio pickups. Air Norton and The Tone Zone humbuckers positioned on either side of a True Velvet singlecoil. Reliable tuning is guaranteed by Lo-Pro Edge double-locking trem, and Gotoh tuner combo.
The guitar is in very good condition for its age – regular traces of use.
