The RG8571 is a rarely seen hard-tail six-string RG model in the J Custom series – which solves a problem for the people who love RGs but hate floating bridges. With this J.Custom you can finally get highest possible Ibanez quality and still droptune on the fly, while looking rad doing it. We have a 4mm AAA flamed maple top on an African mahogany body, paired with a maple and wenge neck finished with a Velvetouch treatment. Cherry on top must be 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard with flamed maple binding and Tree of Life vine inlay. Classic for Ibanez DiMarzio pickups are of course present – two humbuckers and a single-coil. The Gibraltar Elite fixed bridge is for sure the elephant in the room here and it is awesome! GraphTech TUSQ nut, Gotoh locking tuners, and Gotoh strap locks solidify this axe as a modern era workhorse.
