DeanThis USA Dean Flying V is a perfect representation of what the skilled luthiers at Dean USA are capable of. Featuring Dean’s own DMT pickups and a beautiful silverburst finish, this axe will fit your needs across metal, hard rock, blues and even jazz.
This custom ordered guitar features a mahogany body and a set mahogany neck. The neck has been fitted with an ebony fingerboard with 22 Jumbo nickel frets. The top, back, headstock face, reverse and the back of the neck have all been finished in a beautiful silverburst finish. The color is amazingly complimented by the matte nickel hardware, which consists of the Grover 18:1 tuners, the two volume and one tone knobs, the top mount Floyd Rose bridge and nut and the pickup covers. Speaking of pickups, this axe comes loaded with DPU TC pickups, a set of warm and chunky sounding passive pickups which will feel at home in just about any genre.
The guitar is in excellent condition. It has small traces of use, such as micro scratches around the top strap button and a slightly deeper scuff mark below the spring cavity cover. None of these defects impact playability and overall the guitar looks exceptionally clean.
