GMR Bassforce 5
GMRGMR is a Polish workshop that specializes in bass manufacturing. This model is the Bassforce 5, an old staple with a new approach.
This GMR a 5-string monstrosity that is capable of both aggressive and soothing sounds. Features an alder body with a flame maple top and a bolt-on 5-piece maple/walnut neck. The blister maple fretboard is fitted with 24 frets. The hardware on this model is black, with Gotoh GB 707 B tuners and a ETS bridge with 16,5 mm spacing. The electronics consist of two dualcoil Bassculture pickups and a Aguilar OBP 3 preamp. Thanks to the excellent craftsmanship and the relatively flat radius, the bass is extremely easy to play, since it can be setup with low action without buzz or loss in low end. Everyone who has held it in their hand agreed with this. The low B string sound quality is of course a given with GMR basses.
This guitar is new, was used as an exhibition piece at Poland Guitars Fest.
