IbanezThis Custom Shop RG7 was built specifically for a Japanese artist - and it was his actual stage-played instrument. A rare collector’s piece, this Ibanez is a true gem from its era.
The most distinctive feature? The body thickness - over 1 cm thicker than a standard RG, bringing the weight up to 4.1 kg. This was a custom spec requested by the artist himself. Sure, the guitar is hefty, but that extra mass translates into a fuller, meatier tone. Another standout detail: the headstock comes with its own mini “pickguard.” Quirky? Absolutely. But it gives this RG a unique flair that turns heads instantly. And does it have a regular pickguard? Of course not. It’s a transparent neon green one. Wild. Speaking of green - check out the vibrant green dot inlays set against a deep, dark rosewood fretboard. It looks very rad! Still, some things remain classically Ibanez like the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo and DiMarzio humbuckers - a timeless combination we all love.
The guitar is in decent condition. Since this is an actual instrument used by the artist, there are considerable signs of use such as dents and scratches.
