ESPThis workhorse guitar is the signature model for Ben Weinman of mathcore geniuses The Dillinger Escape Plan. Spec’d out for intensive, high-energy and unpredictable shows, this axe prioritises stability and performance with a unique look added to stand out.
This LTD Ben Weinman model sports a chambered mahogany body with a flame maple top. The neck had to be suited to Weinman’s incredibly fast playing, therefore it is a 3-piece maple construction, topped off with an ebony fingerboard and 24 extra jumbo frets. To ensure stability, this model comes stock with the cutting-edge EverTune bridge. As is the case with the rest of the hardware (LTD locking tuners and knurled knobs), it is finished in chrome. Finally, the electronics consist of a set of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers. The tone knob features a push-pull mechanism, allowing the user to switch between "Modern Active" in down position and "Modern Passive Attack" in up position.
The guitar is in good condition. There are light scratches on the pickguard and the EverTune cavity covers. There are some minor scuff marks where the necks meet the body. All of these defects are purely cosmetic and do not hinder playability.
The guitar does not come with a case, but for this price we can buy a gig bag or a hard case.
