Ruf Schrödinger R-7

Ruf Guitars have made a name for themselves creating cutting edge technology and innovating in materials used for guitarmaking. This particular model is Schrödinger R-7, taking inspiration and paying tribute to the iconic Ibanez K-7, signature model of Korn’s guitarists. It features Ruf’s ​​proprietary Ruffaine composite inside the aerospace grade carbon fiber shell. Its longer, 26,5 inch scale allows for ideal tension for lower tunings. The fingerboard is made of richlite and has been fitted with 24 Jescar stainless steel frets. The guitar is equipped with an Evertune bridge and Schaller locking tuners at the top of the headstock. Just like the Ibanez counterpart, the R-7 was fitted with a pair of DiMarzio PAF 7 pickups, a single volume knob and a 3 way pickup selector switch.
