This Edwards is nicknamed Blacky, after super recognisable black sawtooth inlay design and stealthy look. Featuring V-shaped offset design glossy black stripes, this axe guarantees stage presence. It has 3-piece, maple, neck-thru construction and an alder body that keeps it lightweight despite its size. Speaking of the neck, it’s U-shaped, not too thin – just right for comfort and speed. Playability? An ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets gives it a modern, ultra-smooth feel. The aggressive tone comes from a single Seymour Duncan AHB-1b passive pickup, delivering punch whilst maintaining precision. Tuning stability? Rock solid. A combination of Gotoh tuners, locking nut, and a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge keeps everything tight, even after some serious trem abuse.
The guitar is in very good condition. There is glossing in the usual playing areas above and below the tremolo, and a small discoloration on the back. Small scratch on the lower horn.
