This unique and quite rare “pre-lawsuit” Eclipse is a Standard Series ESP made in Japan. It features a mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 extra jumbo frets make playing easy and comfortable. As in most LP shape guitars you get a tune-o-matic style bridge with stop tail. Tuners are high quality Spretzel locking. For the pickups you get a pair of active EMG 81s, delivering punchy tones suitable for everything from rock to the heaviest of metal genres. Unlike in current Eclipse models, here you get 4 knobs, volume and tone for each pickup, making it more akin to the old school single cut models. This guitar features a very elegant looking Dark Brown Sunburst finish and amber top hat knobs, making the whole guitar look classy but with a bit of edginess.
This guitar is in great condition, minor signs of wear.
