Stratocaster Deluxe is all about taking a traditional design from the 50s and updating it to contemporary standards. Its body was made using ash fitted with a, lightly figured maple neck and fingerboard. To upgrade the decades old design, the neck joint has been smoothed and reduced to allow for better access up the higher frets. Other features that got updated are a bridge, 2 point Fender Custom Synchronised Tremolo and Fender locking tuners. One thing that was left the “old way” are the electronics. This one is equipped with Custom Shop ‘69 pickups in the neck and middle position and a Texas Special in the bridge. To control there’s a typical 5-way selector switch, volume knob and two tone knobs.
This guitar is in great condition, some lacquer checking visible all over the body, Noticeable chip in the lower part of the neck heel.
