This GMR bass guitar features an Alder body with a spalted maple top. The neck is a 5-piece maple/padouk combination, and is fitted with an ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard sports 24 frets. The hardware on this bass is black, and encompasses the Gotoh 707B tuners and the Schaller 2000 bridge. In the realm of electronics, we get two Bassculture dualcoil pickups with ebony covers, which nicely compliment the spalted maple top. On top of that, this guitar comes with a Sonar Delano 3 preamp, which is controlled by two mini toggle switches, which further enriches the tonal opportunities that this instrument has to offer. Thanks to the excellent craftsmanship and the relatively flat radius, the bass is extremely easy to play, since it can be setup with low action without buzz or loss in low end. The low B string sound quality is of course a given with GMR basses.
