This Ibanez RG is the epitome of what Japanese build quality is all about and a manifestation of what the builders at Fujigen are capable of. This model comes with a chambered alder body with a 4mm AAA flamed maple top. The neck is a bolt-on 5-piece maple/wenge combination, fitted with an ebony neck. The 24 jumbo frets are nickel silver and have been subjected to the J. Custom edge treatment. The hardware is a sleek, satin black color and consists of Gotoh SG381 tuners, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, Gotoh VK1-19 knobs and a Top-Lok III nut. Finally, the electronics section consists of the following DiMarzio pickups: The Tone Zone (H), True Velvet (S), and PAF 36th anniversary (H) in the bridge, middle and neck positions respectively.
This guitar is in excellent condition. There is some minor oxidization on the bridge pickup cover and a small, but noticeable ding on the back of the body above the tremolo springs cavity.
