A Floyd Rose tremolo, locking nut and time tested hardware ensure rock-solid tuning stability, even with the most aggressive playing styles. The pair of active EMG-81 and EMG-85 pickups deliver the legendary tone that has revolutionized the rock and metal scene for years.
As mentioned before, it has been modded:
- Fret replacement with stainless steel jumbo frets (2.8mm width x 1.4mm height). This included fingerboard leveling, fret crowning and fret dressing.
- New EMG 81 and 85 pickups installed.
- Cream-colored pickguard, pickguard cover, and truss rod cover replaced. The pickguard is custom-made and had some looseness, so two additional screws were added. The truss rod cover is also custom-made.
- A cream-colored plastic sheet with a pattern is affixed to the longer wing of the body using weak double-sided tape. It can be easily removed and cleaned with polish. Stronger tape can be used if desired.
- Knobs replaced with Gotoh metal black knobs.
The guitar has been played, has a few scratches here and there and a noticeable chip on one of the horns (see photos).
