This guitar is made in Japan with the best wood and components. The body is Mamywo, which is Tyler’s name for Jelutong out of southeast Asia. The neck is made of a beautiful single piece quartersawn maple. It is fitted with nicely finished 22 nickel silver frets and pearloid inlay markers. This Tyler is equipped with Gotoh G2TS tremolo and Hipshot locking tuners at the top of the iconic headstock. Electronics in this guitar are a HSS set of James Tyler own made pickups, JTS5500 in the neck and middle and a Super humbucker in the bridge position. Alongside the typical 5 way selector switch, master volume and tone, you get an extra circuit with a midboost preamp, controlled by an additional knob and a bypass button.
This guitar is in great condition, minimal traces of use.
