Suhr guitars don’t show up in our store very often – but when they do, you can be sure they’re special. The first thing you’ll notice about this guitar is its striking, almost geometric, Charcoal Web finish. The body is crafted from alder and paired with a maple neck, delivering that bright, snappy attack that most heavy players like. The Pau Ferro fretboard is an exotic choice. It resembles rosewood in appearance but offers a firmer, sleeker feel under your fingers. Combine that with stainless steel frets, and you’ve got one incredibly playable neck. Under the hood, this puppy is loaded with Suhr’s in-house SSV and SSH+ humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, respectively – giving you versatility, clarity, and power in equal measure. Tuning stability? Absolutely. The combination of Hipshot locking tuners, a TUSQ nut, and the 510 tremolo unit ensures it.
The guitar is in great condition. It is hard to see these minimal traces of use, especially on this finish, nonetheless we try to show them in the photos. More photos are coming very soon!
