This guitar consists of a 2-piece alder body with a bolt on maple neck. The Indian rosewood fingerboard is fitted with 22 heavy nickel frets. The hardware on this model is chrome, with Sperzel locking tuners and a Gotoh 510 2-point tremolo system ensuring tuning stability. Do not let the classic appearance of this guitar mislead you – under the hood, besides the SSV humbucker and two ML Standard single coils, you will find what Suhr calls a blower switch. It allows the user to jump from any pickup setting to the bridge pickup on full volume. The 5-way blade pickup switch lets you select between humbucker and single coil tones and combinations.
This guitar is in excellent condition, the pickguard is yellowed with a lighter spot visible, most likely caused by a sticker placed there by the prior owner. There is also an unremoved sticker on the backplate tremolo cover.
